Greenspek I.T. Providers has an SMS short code service. What is short code? SMS shortcode is sending premium charged SMS to short numbers like 55509.
Senders are charged higher than normal SMS. Such SMS can cost as much N30, N50 or N100. This can be used for billing and revenue generation. We can register a shortcode service for you at little startup cost. Our shortcode services are highly automated and responses are sent to clients immediately.
Our shortcode service can be integrated into your website or mobile app making it useful for billing services.
There are 2 types: Shared and Dedicated short codes.
SHARED SHORT CODE
A one-time setup fee of N149,000 (US$400). No monthly payments.
+ You will provide us with the required KEYWORD which has to be checked for availability.
+ Supports ALL GSM networks
+ Includes API for integration to your project.
+ Network payouts per quarter (3 months)
+ Control Panel where you can view all your transactions real-time

PAY OUT
You get paid once per quarter (every 3 months). This is the timeline given by the networks to process such transactions.
You have to have generated up to N50,000 to be paid else, the payment is rolled over to the next month. Your revenue remains intact until the above threshold is reached.
DEDICATED SHORT CODE
This is quite expensive and is only used if you expect very high traffic. We DO NOT offer this service.

Basically, long code is short code but to a regular phone number like 09091148637 so users are charged the standard SMS fee (not premium fee). The service can be integrated into your website or mobile app making it useful for marketing and automated responses without billing end users

A computer network is an essential element of modern business, and it's increasingly indispensible in the home, too. A network lets your computer connect to the Web so that you can check e-mail, update a website, or teleconference. It also lets you communicate locally with other computers on the same local network.
Setting up a network is a good way to get more use out of your computers and peripherals, particularly for small and home business users.
+ Networks allow you to share a single broadband internet connection among multiple computers and PC users, and they are able to share files among computers more easily and share software resources such as diaries.
+ Networking also allows you to use a printer connected to a different computer, and access media and other resources, such as images and music, which are stored remotely or across the office.
Wired, Wireless or Both?
More small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are using wireless networking equipment, particularly since it has fallen in price and become easier to configure and use.
Wireless networking allows you to have a more attractive and arguably safer office environment with fewer cables around.
It gives you more flexibility about where you locate your IT kit, and you can use your laptop from anywhere in your office.
It also allows you to offer visitors wireless internet access or hot-desk facilities.
However, Ethernet-based wired networking can still have the edge over wireless equipment in being more reliable, lower cost and offering faster connection speeds.
Wireless signals, on the other hand, can vary depending on the layout of an office, the thickness of the walls and sometimes even the weather.
Network Security
After we setup a network, we ensure it is protected. We do this through the security settings in the router, or the operating system.
Also using technologies such as wireless encryption protocol (WEP) for a wireless network, which uses passwords to encrypt the network traffic.
Other options are using:
+ Windows and network log ins and passwords to limit access to the network to authorised users.
+ Using hardware security such as fingerprint recognition, security and password keys, and full disk encryption to further protect the network.
We take network security very seriously. When it comes to using the internet, we set your browser security and privacy settings to ensure that the network is protected from from viruses, spam and hacking attempts.
There are other additional security packages to protect and maintain the network perimeters, checking for attacks from both the outside and the inside.
These packages are deployed depending on the scale of your network.
Video cameras are used to observe an area and connected to recording device or IP Network and monitored in a Control Room.
Video surveillance technologies are used for far more than their roots in crime detection, with video analytics solutions able to serve a variety of applications such as traffic and crowd control management.
Access Control systems can be simply defined as the process by which security staff control who enters and leaves the premises and when. Access control technically includes the time-honoured mechanical lock and key, but when people talk about access control in the modern security industry, they mean sophisticated electronic turnstiles, gates, wireless locks and other barriers.
Keys can be lost, stolen and copied, leaving assets vulnerable and requiring an expensive change of locks. Happily, when an electronic access card is lost or stolen, access rights can be withdrawn immediately, rendering the card inactive. Should thieves gain access before a theft is noticed, operators can identify when they breached security and - if there are multiple access points - where in the building they are at any given time.
Modern access-control systems also offer flexible access rights. For example, while all staff can generally gain access through a building's main entrance, access to certain internal areas may be restricted to those with relevant authority. Access can also be restricted to specific time periods.
The plastic access card has long been the dominant form of identity verification. While they still govern access for most installed systems, biometric solutions - usually authenticating identity through facial, fingerprint and iris recognition - are becoming more reliable, affordable and widespread.
Often accused of being a conservative industry the access control sector is finally emulating its CCTV counterpart in embracing IP, open-platform technology, the internet of things and integration with, and interoperability between, building systems. Mobile access - gaining access using smartphones - is one burgeoning trend with numerous operational benefits.
Online advertising is one of the most effective ways for businesses of all sizes to expand their reach, find new customers, and diversify their revenue streams. With so many options available - from PPC and paid social to online display advertising and in-app ads, online advertising can be intimidating to newcomers, but it doesn't have to be. We make online advertising easy, and we've helped many businesses grow by leveraging the power of paid search and paid social advertising.
Online Advertising - Search
When you think of online advertising, the chances are pretty good that you're thinking of paid search advertising. Paid search - also known as pay-per-click advertising or PPC - is one of the most common and effective types of online advertising.
Paid search allows you to bid on relevant terms and phrases that may cause text-based ads to be displayed to users when they enter specific search queries into Google, Yahoo or Bing. These terms and phrases are known as keywords, and they form the basis of PPC advertising. Advertisers bid on keywords as part of an ad auction. This ensures that all advertisers have a fair chance of their ads being displayed to users, rather than those with the biggest advertising budgets.
Keywords should be highly relevant to your business, organized and structured into logical ad groups separated by campaign type, and aligned with the correct match type in order to be displayed to the right visitors, at the right time, for the right campaign.
Online Advertising - Social
Social networking remains the most popular online pastime for adults all over the world, and advertisers have evolved their strategies to target consumers where they spend their time, namely on social networks such as Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. Paid social advertising functions similarly to paid search, with the notable exception that advertisers, not users, take the initiative - advertisers must "search" for users, rather than the other way around.
One of the greatest strengths of paid social advertising is the granularity with which advertisers can target prospective customers, and this principle underpins many social advertising platforms and products. Advertisers can target users with hundreds of parameters, from demographic data (such as age, gender, income, level of education, and marital status) to browsing preferences and social behaviour.
Advertisers can also target users based on the types of pages and profiles they follow, the things they buy, and the news they read. These custom audiences can be created from existing customer data (to create "lookalike" audiences of similar users) to email lists, which Facebook and Twitter can pair with their data about these users to reveal greater insights about their behaviour.
We are currently exploring the rise of so-called "identity marketing" which has proven to be the latest - and arguably, the most profound - shift in digital marketing of the past decade, offering advertisers unbelievable opportunities to grow their business.
Email Marketing
Email marketing is one of the most common elements in an online advertising campaign. Some advertisers launch email-only campaigns to highlight time-specific offers or content downloads, whereas others use email to complement their other digital marketing channels. Email marketing can be highly effective, making it a popular choice for today's advertisers.
